"Everyone should participate in tree planting as a righteous and virtuous act, so that with an increase in trees, our living environment will gain freshness and vitality," he remarked.

He emphasized that individuals of all ages should be inspired and driven to engage in this important, significant, essential, and beautiful endeavor.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution highlighted the importance of seriously committing to the national tree-planting initiative that was launched during Martyr Raisi's administration. He pointed out that this campaign, which commenced last year and continues to progress, shows that planting one billion trees within four years is achievable, and he urged government institutions to support the public in this effort.
Imam Khamenei cautioned against tree removal and the alteration of agricultural land use, asserting that cutting down trees, except in technical and necessary cases, constitutes a loss and poses a risk. He emphasized that the destruction of forests and the conversion of agricultural lands must be prevented. He also acknowledged the positive progress made in this area in Tehran and other cities, urging that these efforts should be sustained.
