Hawzah News Agency- Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar narrated that his father narrated from Sahl ibn Zyad, from Muhammad ibn Sa’id, from Isma’il ibn Abi Zyad al-Sakoony that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:
نِعْمَ الشَّيْءُ الْهَدِيَّةُ أَمَامَ الْحَاجَةِ، وقال: تَهَادَوْا تَحَابُّوا، فَإِنَّ الْهَدِيَّةَ تَذْهَبُ بِالضَّغَائِنِ.
How excellent a thing is a gift given before asking for a need.
Then he said: Give gifts to one another and you will grow in love, for gifts remove grudges.
