Hawzah News Agency- Major General Dr. Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, met with Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Supreme National Security Council Is the Crossroads of Governance
During the meeting, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei referred to the Supreme National Security Council and its secretariat as the "crossroads of governance" for the country's affairs and stressed the mutual influence of the four domains of "culture," "politics," "economy," and "security," as well as the necessity of having appropriate attachments for decision-making in each domain.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered the utilization of a roadmap based on a complete picture of every action—from its starting point to its endpoint—as a prerequisite for sound and firm decision-making.
Strengthening national cohesion and unity and mutual trust between the people and officials, utilizing the capacity of the Constitution—particularly Article 176—to assist the president and executive bodies in facilitating and expediting the resolution of the country's problems, protecting national and regional security through the exercise of management over the Strait of Hormuz, and consolidating bilateral relations with neighboring countries based on sustainable and mutual interests were among other topics raised in the meeting.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the enemy's desperation as one of the fruits of national resistance and emphasized active and timely public communication to sustain the people's participation in defending the country and the system, as well as pursuing the fulfillment of the Iranian nation's rights and interests and those of the Resistance Front through the realization of the conditions put forward by the country's officials with the aim of ending the war and the "neither war nor peace" situation.
During the meeting, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council presented a report on the country's conditions in various domains and the efforts currently underway.
In his report, Dr. Mohsen Rezaei cited the pursuit of the Islamic Republic's strategic policy of "organizing endogenous regional arrangements and order" as among the measures being undertaken by the secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council.
