Speaking to Hawzah News Agency on the sidelines of the 26th Khorasan Razavi Research and Technology Achievements Exhibition in Mashhad, Hojatoleslam Rabbani Birjandi commemorated the auspicious birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH), underscoring the depth and universality of her life and teachings.
Describing Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) as “the teacher of creation,” he said that every moment of her life—her words, actions, and demeanor—serves as a profound lesson for humanity. He noted that while numerous books have been written on her character and legacy, many fail to explore the full intellectual and spiritual depth reflected in her teachings.
The professor stressed the importance of deriving guidance from her example in strengthening the Islamic family structure. “A deeper understanding of the teachings of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH), when examined in connection with the lives of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), provides a richer foundation for explaining and implementing the Islamic lifestyle,” he said.
Commenting on his visit to the Khorasan Seminary pavilions at the exhibition, Rabbani Birjandi praised the significant scientific and content advancements made by seminary institutions in recent years. He noted improvements in both presentation models and the substantive quality of their work.
He also referred to the unveiling of his scholarly works at the pavilion of Al-Mustafa International University, as well as the establishment of the Khorasan Seminary Publications Pavilion, which he described as a meaningful initiative that enriched the scholarly and spiritual atmosphere of the exhibition. The effort, he said, contributed to a renewed engagement with the seminary’s intellectual heritage.
Hojatoleslam Rabbani Birjandi emphasized that although a unified model cannot be applied to all institutions due to their differing capacities and mandates, each organization should pursue continuous improvement in scientific output and publication quality. Drawing on past experience, he said, is vital for institutional progress.
Expressing appreciation for the efforts of the exhibition organizers, he added: “We hope that by strengthening research infrastructure and enhancing collaboration among institutions, the Khorasan Seminary will continue to lead in producing and disseminating Islamic thought at an even greater scale.”
