Blessed Are the Unnoticed Servants

Hadith of the Day is a daily feature highlighting timeless sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Ahlul-Bayt (pbut), offering insights into faith, ethics, and spirituality for contemporary life.

Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Sa’ed ibn Abdullah, from Ahmad ibn Aba Abdullah al-Barqy, from his father, from Safvan al-Jamal that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:

Blessed is the unnoticed servant (‘nawmah’) who knows people, so he associates with them outwardly with his body, but does not follow them in their deeds with his heart. He understands them outwardly, while they do not truly know him inwardly.

Al-Khisal,Book 2,Chapter 88
