Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al‑Saduq narrated that his father (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim, from his father, from Hammad ibn Isa, from the one he mentioned, from Imam Sadiq (pbuh), who said: The Commander of the Faithful (pbuh) said in his testament to his son Muhammad ibn al‑Hanafiyyah:
Know that the dignified conduct (muru’ah) of a Muslim man is of two kinds; dignity while settled, and dignity while traveling:
1. As for dignity while settled, it is: reciting the Qur’an, keeping the company of scholars, reflecting deeply on jurisprudence, and maintaining the daily prayers.
2. And as for dignity while traveling, it is: sharing one’s provisions, minimizing disputes with one’s companions, and frequently remembering Allah—Mighty and Majestic—at every ascent and descent, and in every moment of stopping, standing, and sitting.
