Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al‑Saduq narrated that Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Muhammad ibn Abi al‑Qasim, from Ahmad ibn Abi Abd Allah al‑Barqi, from his father Muhammad ibn Khalid al‑Barqi, from a group of his companions, who raised it to Imam Sadiq (pbuh), that he said:

مَنْهُومَانِ لَا یَشْبَعَانِ مَنْهُومُ عِلْمٍ وَ مَنْهُومُ مَالٍ.

Two types of hunger are never quenched: the hunger for knowledge, and the hunger for wealth.
