Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Sa’ed ibn Abdullah, from Ayoob ibn Nooh, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Qutaybat al-A’eshi that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:
حَسْبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنَ اللَّهِ نُصْرَةً أَنْ يَرَى عَدُوَّهُ يَعْمَلُ بِمَعَاصِي اللَّهِ.
It is sufficient divine support for a believer that he sees his enemy engaged in disobedience to Allah.(1)
(1) Commentary: When your opponent destroys himself through sin, that alone is a form of victory and protection from Allah — you do not need to harm him; his own deeds bring his downfall.
