Measuring Greatness: Wealth, Rank, and Speech

Hawzah News Agency- Imam Sadiq (a.s) said:

الرِّجَالُ ثَلَاثَهٌ رَجُلٌ بِمَالِهِ وَ رَجُلٌ بِجَاهِهِ وَ رَجُلٌ بِلِسَانِهِ وَ هُوَ أَفْضَلُ الثَّلَاثَهِ.

Men are of three types: a man [whose manhood is] through his wealth, a man [whose manhood is] through his status, and a man [whose manhood is] through his tongue [speech], and he is the best of the three.
