Martyr Nasrallah Was a Cultural, Preaching and Social Figure: Cleric

A Tehran seminary lecturer says Hezbollah's slain secretary-general should be understood beyond his political and military dimensions, describing him as a cultural, preaching, political and social figure who became the true hero of the Arab world.

Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Faraji said Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has unfortunately been reduced by experts and researchers mainly to his political and military dimensions, whereas he was in fact a cultural, preaching, political and social figure who, through his precise and worthy leadership of Hezbollah and the resistance front, became the true hero of the Arab world.

Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the martyred commanders of the resistance front and honoring the epic of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, held at the Amir al-Momenin (peace be upon him) Grand Mosque in Tehran's Shush neighborhood, Faraji said the study of this great epic must be pursued through an explanation of the personalities and commanders of the resistance, of whom Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is undoubtedly among the foremost.

A Special Standing Among Resistance Commanders

The seminary lecturer said the late Hezbollah secretary-general held a special position among the commanders of the resistance front, adding that Martyr Nasrallah's standing before God was elevated, and the highest reward he could receive after years of resistance against arrogance and defense of the oppressed—not only in Lebanon but across the world—was martyrdom.

He added that no reward in this world could compensate for all the hardships this great man and mujahid endured during his years of struggle, and God Almighty made martyrdom the reward for these efforts.

Referring to Nasrallah's courage and prudence, Faraji continued that throughout his blessed life, and despite his age, the martyr was a brave, fearless force who at the same time possessed sound judgment.

Nasrallah Was a Cultural, Preaching, Political and Social Figure

Emphasizing that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah must be considered beyond a political and military figure, he said Nasrallah should be viewed as a school, a path and a method, and his personality should be examined from various dimensions—from his personal life to his leadership of Hezbollah, the measures he took as a war commander against the Zionist regime, and his relations with other axes of resistance.

The prayer leader of the Amir al-Momenin Grand Mosque in Tehran's Shush neighborhood stated that if one quality were to be highlighted alongside all of Nasrallah's moral virtues and personal characteristics, it would be his guardianship-oriented devotion, which was truly unmatched.

A Model for Muslims and Shias Worldwide

The seminary lecturer noted that Martyr Nasrallah is a model for all Muslims and Shias of the world. He had the relationship of a devotee to his master and a soldier to his commander with his Imam and Leader, and he ranked first in guardianship-oriented devotion.

Referring to the Holy Quran's emphasis on the concept of guardianship, Faraji said Martyr Nasrallah was an outstanding example in practice of this principle, and it was this quality that led the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to use such valuable expressions about this great martyr.

In conclusion, Faraji said that today Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is a hero and a true man of the field who has become a model for all freedom-seekers of the world, adding that Hezbollah's fighters and commanders have continued his path well, and the resistance front today stands at the height of its power.
