The history of resistance is full of men who stood tall as the storms raged and, by sacrificing their lives, gave meaning to dignity and freedom — men who departed so the banner of truth would not fall and the lamp of resistance would not be extinguished in the darkness of oppression and occupation.
The martyrdom anniversary of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the tireless mujahid and head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, recalls a man who spent his life on the path of resistance and defense of his beliefs, ultimately joining the caravan of martyrs. His martyrdom added another page to the bloody record of the Zionist regime's crimes — a regime that seeks to break the will of regional nations through assassination and aggression, unaware that an idea watered by a martyr's blood cannot be silenced by terror.
