Hawzah News Agency- Iran’s Deputy Minister of Intelligence Hujjat al-Islam Hossein Safdari made some remarks in a meeting to analyze and review the regional and international developments with a group of professors and scholars of the seminary in the conference hall of the Qom Seminary Teachers' Society. The cleric said,” The world has witnessed major geopolitical developments in the last three years, and the war in Ukraine has challenged Europe and questioned its dependence on the United States.”
He further noted, “Some believe that US, by not providing sufficient support to Europe, has in a way paved the way for Russia, meanwhile, China has changed its approach in the international relations and has more actively entered global strategic equations.”
Hujjat al-Islam Safdari continued to say that Gaza Strip, with a small area and a population of over two million people, is under a tight security siege by Israel, and the country's extensive espionage network has complete control over the region's vital infrastructure. These conditions have exacerbated the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Referring to the defeat of the Zionist regime against Hamas and Palestinian jihadist groups, he noted,” Today, the brutal Zionist regime is weaker than ever, there are serious differences within the regime, and the resignation of its officials is a reflection of this decline.”
