Hawzah News Agency- Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi made some remarks in the mourning ceremony for the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) held at Imam Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) school, referred to the widespread publicity of events such as the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima (PBUH) and the events of Karbala and Arbaeen, and said, "In the history of mankind, there has never been an event like World War II with more than fifty million casualties , but we see that with the passage of time, it has faded and been forgotten, while unlike material events, spiritual events become more colorful and prominent with the passage of time, and the holding of mourning ceremonies during these days reflects this fact.”
Referring to the millions of pilgrims walking in the Arbaeen ceremony, the Ayatollah added,” On Arbaeen, only Jabir ibn Abdullah Ansari and Atiyah went to visit Imam Hussein Tomb (PBUH), but with the passage of time, those two people became twenty million people.”
Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi further cited the pilgrimage to Imam Hussain Shrine as an example and added,” It is narrated that when Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) prayed, the light of her worship would rise to the heavens and the angels.”
The senior scholar also considered the delivery of the sermon of Fadak in the mosque as a sign of the courage of that magnificent lady and highlighted that after more than a thousand years, this sermon is still one of the best and most enduring sermons ever performed.
