Hawzah News Agency- The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Iran Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Javad Shahrestani had a meeting with the director-general and deputy of the Endowments Organization of Qom province, stating that connecting with the Quran, including reciting and memorizing the words of revelation, is a blessed deed, and the international Holy Quran competition hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran, will dispel the rumors about Shiites and their relationship with the Quran.

Referring to the holding of the educational section of the Holy Quran, Nahj al-balagha and Sahifa Sajjadia competitions hosted by Qom Province, he added,” God has been kind to us and bestowed many blessings on Qom and its residents, of course we shall be grateful in practice.”

The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani further pointed out that we must make optimal use of creativity and human resources in Iran and turn potential capacities into reality.

Hujjat al-Islam Shahrestani said,” the issue of upbringing should be prioritized over education, and this issue is also emphasized in the Quran.”
