Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ashfaq Vahedi, a Shia scholar living in Australia, said,” Parachinar is the heart of Pakistan and elements that jeopardize peace must be exposed, terrorism and sectarianism have always added to the problems of the people living in Pakistan, and so far, dozens of innocent people have lost their lives.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ashfaq Vahedi further spoke on the recent tensions in Parachinar, saying,” Government institutions and officials should play their role to terminate the tension in Parachinar since people are suffering and the forces that are trying to jeopardize the peace of Parachinar should be exposed.”

He further added that the government of Pakistan should pay special attention to this region and eradicate terrorist elements completely. Today, even though they are educated, the youth of Parachinar are facing many problems due to the lack of attention of the officials.

He also expressed concern about the continuation of the war in Palestine and Gaza and asked international organizations to play their role in stopping this oppression so that peace can be established in the region.
