The mufti of Tyre in Lebanon Sheikh Hassan Abdullah emphasized the role of Imam Musa Sadr in creating a school in the movement of human and ideological conflicts, resistance against oppression and economic and social injustice, and confronting oppressors.

Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Hassan Abdullah, the Mufti of Tyre and Jabal Amil in Lebanon, received religious delegations at Daral Fatwa Jafari in the city of Tyre, during which he stressed the role of Imam Seyyed Musa Sadr, in creating a school in the movement of human and ideological conflicts. He emphasized resistance against economic and social injustice and resistance and confronting oppressors and said,” Imam Musa Sadr issued a fatwa prohibiting interaction with the usurping Zionist regime by stating that interaction with Israel is forbidden and Israel is absolute evil.”

He pointed out,” We are commemorating the anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr and his companions; Lebanon, especially the south, is in a difficult situation, the most dangerous of which is the current Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the Palestinian people.”

Sheikh Abdullah clarified that the remarkable thing is that some people say the war in Gaza reflects the geography of that place, but in fact, the Israeli regime is waging a direct war with all the Palestinian people, with the people of Lebanon, and against humanity in general in the world.

Mufti of Tyre and Jabal Amel stated,” Imam Musa Sadr's life was full of events and developments, and this period was accompanied by events in Lebanon that made him see the reality of the conspiracy against the Middle East, in such a way that the presence of a usurping regime in the land of Palestine, threatens a number of Arab and Islamic countries which he drew in his vision.”

At the end, the Lebanese scholar noted that on the anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions, we renew our allegiance to their thought and approach, since Lebanon will be blessed through them.

Imam al-Sadr, the founder of Lebanon’s Amal Movement, was a popular and highly revered Lebanese Shia cleric of Iranian descent, who disappeared on August 31, 1978 while visiting Libya.

He was scheduled to meet with officials from the government of former Libyan leader, Mu’ammar al-Qadhafi along with two of his companions, Muhammad Ya’qoub and Abbas Badreddin. It is widely believed in Lebanon that the Shia cleric was kidnapped on the orders of senior Libyan officials.
