Hawzah News Agency- an official delegation of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Ahmad Vahidi, Minister of Interior and representatives of service departments, met with Najaf Ashraf Governor Youssef Kanawi in Iraq on Thursday, July 25.

In this meeting, both sides exchanged ideas about cooperation in holding the pilgrimage of Arbaeen and providing all necessary services and facilities to the pilgrims.

Highlighting the role of Najaf Ashraf in the Arbaeen Walk as a starting point, Kanawi clarified that the people of Najaf City are mobilizing all their strength in the way of service.

He Further stated that Najaf Ashraf is facing problems in the transportation process and we are trying to solve it, emphasizing the need to provide services since we have done a complete and thoughtful planning for it.

At the end of this meeting, Najaf Governor Youssef Kanawi appreciated the Hosseini processions and the service efforts that will be done by the Iranian side.
