Hawzah News Agency –Hamas Spokesperson Abdul Latif al-Qanoua said that the march of flags to be held the coming Sunday in al-Lydd and Ramla constitute a provocation to the Palestinian people.
Therefore, al-Qanoua called on the Palestinians to confront and thwart the march, just as they did in occupied al-Quds.
Al-Qanoua held the Israeli occupation responsible for these provocative marches, stressing that the occupation's agendas and schemes cannot go through when faced with the determination of the Palestinian people, who have a strong will.
For the third day in a row, settlers carried out a provocative march on al-Wad Road in the Old City, to celebrate the so-called Jewish "Festival of Lights" or Hanukah.
The Israeli occupation forces deliberately set up flags marches in order to provoke the Palestinians. The most recent march was scheduled in occupied al-Quds, which the IOF had to cancel several times last June.
The Israeli announcement of the march came after Hamas warned against the settlers’ attempts to organize a march of flags, passing through Bab al-Amoud in the al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of al-Quds.
