The director of Iran's Islamic seminaries has lauded the massive and dignified participation of the people, Grand Marja's, clerics, and the entire Iranian nation in the funeral processions for the Martyr Leader, stating that these historic ceremonies in Tehran and Qom forged an unbreakable chain of faith, resistance, and unity—a formidable barrier against the enemies.

Hawzah News Agency- In two separate messages, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran, expressed his deep gratitude for the fervent and steadfast presence of the people, Shia sources of emulation, clergy, and the unified masses of Islamic Iran in the funeral ceremonies held in Tehran and Qom. The texts of the messages are as follows:

Message of Appreciation to the People of Tehran

Addressing the insightful, revolutionary, and proud people of Tehran, the zealous youth of the Islamic Revolution's capital, Ayatollah Arafi stated that Tehran, as the Umm al-Qura—the mother village—of the Islamic world, once again fulfilled its historic duty at one of the most critical junctures in the history of the Islamic Revolution. He said that through a conscious, magnificent, and powerful presence at the funeral of the nation's beloved Martyr Leader, the people created an enduring epic of faith and ardor.

"You, the noble people of Tehran—old and young, men and women, merchants, academics, elites, and the clergy—with your million-strong presence on the streets of this city, showcased to the world the unbreakable bond between the Ummah and Imamate. You renewed your covenant with the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution and pledged allegiance to the new Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei," the message read.

Ayatollah Arafi emphasized that the ocean of mourners in the capital was not only a manifestation of allegiance to Wilayah but a resounding, enemy-shattering cry that sent tremors through the aggressors and ill-wishers of the nation. He stressed that this epic presence served as a clear message to all the free people of the world and the Resistance Front that the path of avenging the pure blood of the martyrs and standing firm against the arrogant powers will be pursued with greater resolve than ever.

He concluded by praying that these meaningful gatherings and Ashura-style mourning processions continue, adding to the glory of Jihad and Resistance.

Message of Appreciation to the Marja’iyyah and People of Qom

In a separate message directed at the noble people of Qom and the esteemed seminary community, Ayatollah Arafi commended the city's millennia-long history of standing under the banner of Islam. He noted that particularly over the past century, and most intensely in the more than 60 years since Imam Khomeini's uprising, the people of Qom have displayed unparalleled greatness, sacrifice, and pioneering spirit in the Islamic movement and revolution.

"Now, by mourning the pure body of the Mujahid Imam and Great Leader Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, and by swearing allegiance to the new Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, you have added a golden page to the thick book of your glory," he declared.

Ayatollah Arafi hailed the surging waves of mourners—youth, men, women, various social groups, seminary students, scholars, and Grand Marja's—who created a massive, Ashura-like epic unprecedented in the history of Qom and the Islamic Revolution. He said the roar of their presence and their unity signaled the continuation of the path of the two Imams of the Revolution and the precious martyrs.

He stressed that this historic and unique funeral in Tehran and Qom has formed a chain of the magnificence of faith, resistance, and unity, standing as an unyielding dam against the enemies. "Inspired by this, the esteemed officials of the Armed Forces and the Axis of Resistance must stand firm against the aggressors and expansionists," Ayatollah Arafi asserted.

The director of the seminaries extended special thanks to the Marja’iyyah, particularly Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and Grand Ayatollah Sobhani, and expressed hope that such street-level presence and Ashura-style processions will continue, reinforcing the might of Jihad and the Resistance.
