Hawzah News Agency- According to a report, the event took place in the city of Jacobabad, where speakers shed light on the legacy of the Martyr Leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and his interpretation of the epic of Ashura.
Addressing the conference, Hojatoleslam Maqsood Ali Domki, a senior member of Pakistan's Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, stated that the Martyr Leader revived the message of Ashura and the philosophy behind Imam Hussein's uprising in the contemporary era. He noted that through a scholarly, Quranic, and revolutionary interpretation of the Karbala movement, he guided not only the Iranian nation but the entire Islamic Ummah toward insight, awareness, and resistance.
He added that the Martyr Leader, with courage and fortitude, challenged the Yazidis of the time—namely global arrogance led by the United States and the Zionist regime—and remained a steadfast defender of the world's oppressed nations. He showed the Islamic Ummah the path of dignity, independence, freedom, and resistance, breathing new life into the body of Islamic awakening.
The religious scholar further remarked that today, the hearts of the Muslim world beat in Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla, where Muslim nations have gathered for the historic funeral of this towering Islamic figure, the beloved leader of the Ummah, and the standard-bearer of resistance.
Speaking at the event, Hojatoleslam Zulfiqar Ali Saeedi, a Pakistani cleric, emphasized that the tragedy of Karbala is not merely a historical incident but an eternal criterion for distinguishing truth from falsehood across all ages. He said the Martyr Leader, inspired by the Hussaini school of thought, placed Islamic unity and the awakening of the Ummah at the center of his intellectual and political movement.
Hojatoleslam Saif Ali Domki, another Pakistani preacher, highlighted the lessons of Muharram, saying the month teaches that preserving the faith requires sacrifice, selflessness, and steadfastness on the path of truth. He noted that the Martyr Leader dedicated his entire life to promoting these very Islamic values.
Hojatoleslam Ali Nawaz Irfani stated that the thoughts of the Martyr Leader were deeply rooted in the Holy Quran, the life of the Holy Prophet, and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT). He added that the leader consistently called upon the younger generation to pursue knowledge, piety, insight, the ability to identify the enemy, and a sense of responsibility toward the destiny of the Islamic Ummah.
Thinker Allah Bakhsh Sajadi addressed the youth directly, saying it is the duty of the young generation to implement the message of Ashura in their individual and social lives and to play an active role in fostering Islamic unity, strengthening their homeland, and supporting the oppressed around the world.
Hojatoleslam Munawar Hussain Solangi, a Pakistani cleric, asserted that the life of the Martyr Leader was a relentless struggle against tyranny, arrogance, and Zionism. He stressed the urgent need to convey the thoughts, ideals, and message of this great Islamic personality to the masses and called on all faithful and revolutionary forces to work in unity to promote the Hussaini culture and strengthen the axis of resistance.
The conference concluded with a special prayer for the elevated status of Martyr Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and for the victory and divine assistance of the oppressed peoples of Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and all suffering Muslim communities worldwide.
