Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Hassan Dehshiri, the Friday Prayer Leader of Ardestan, speaking to a Hawzah correspondent in Isfahan on the occasion of the 200th night of the sacred resistance of the Islamic nation of Iran and the epic gatherings of the people, stated: The 200th night of the people of Iran’s presence on the scene is a symbol of resistance, insight, allegiance to the Guardianship, and defiance of the enemy, and this conscious presence must be honored.
He added: In religious culture, certain numbers carry special meanings, and the Holy Quran in verse 65 of Surah Al-Anfal speaks of the ratio of one faithful and patient force to 10 of the enemy; therefore, the concept of patience and steadfastness on the battlefield holds a special place.
Hojatoleslam Dehshiri noted: The people of Ardestan, over 200 nights — approximately six months and 20 days — did not abandon the field, and under various conditions, from threats and pressure to propaganda and taunts, maintained their presence and demonstrated that their devotion and commitment to the values of the Revolution and the Guardianship cannot be shaken by such matters.
The Friday Prayer Leader of Ardestan emphasized: The people were present on the scene on various occasions — from the holy month of Ramadan, the Nights of Destiny [Laylat al-Qadr], and the martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH) to Eid al-Fitr, Nowruz, Eid al-Adha, Tasua and Ashura, Arbaeen, and the occasions of the months of Safar and Rabi al-Awwal — and this continuity of presence demonstrates their determination and will.
He stated: Verse 200 of Surah Al-Imran also corresponds to this night, conveying four important commands for the faithful: "Be patient," "persevere in patience," "guard the borders," and "observe piety." Patience and steadfastness, advising one another to patience, guarding the borders and strengthening bonds among the faithful, and ultimately divine piety are the four pillars of this noble verse.
Hojatoleslam Dehshiri continued: The people during this period stood firm against bombardments, economic pressures, threats, and hardships, and in addition to personal patience, they must also advise one another to patience and steadfastness; just as Imam Ali (PBUH) considered the place of patience for faith to be like the place of the head for the body.
The Friday Prayer Leader of Ardestan added: "Guard the borders" in interpretations has been understood as both protecting the frontiers and establishing connection and cohesion among the faithful; the warriors also, by guarding the land, air, and sea borders, stood against the enemy, and the people must also maintain their connection and solidarity.
Referring to the final part of verse 200 of Surah Al-Imran, he said: Divine piety is one of the important factors of salvation, and its signs can be seen in allegiance and disavowal; love for and following God, the Prophet (PBUH), the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), and the faithful on one hand, and declaring disavowal of the enemies of God, the Prophet (PBUH), the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), and Iran on the other, are manifested in the people's behavior and slogans.
Hojatoleslam Dehshiri emphasized: The people's conscious presence on the scene is a support for resistance and steadfastness, and it must continue with trust in God; a faithful person should fear nothing but God and must place their hope in God Almighty.
