Hawzah News Agency- Speaking during a meeting with participants attending the funeral of the Martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the senior cleric pointed to the lofty and distinguished status of the late leader, stating that perhaps today many people still do not fully grasp what an exceptional and great personality has been lost. He noted that he had known the Martyr Leader since the 1950s and that his entire life was filled with important, valuable, and remarkable points.
The Grand Ayatollah pointed to the massive popular turnout for the farewell and funeral ceremonies of the Martyr Leader, adding that in recent days, the entire world stood in awe of the magnitude of the people's presence, and God willing, this massive turnout will grow even larger in the days ahead.
The Shia source of emulation further stressed that the enemies should know this epic presence represents only a fraction of his devoted followers, and that this man of God has countless admirers and devotees across the globe. All must understand that the struggle is against the arrogant mindset and the oppression and crimes being perpetrated by global arrogance—namely the United States and the Zionists. This nation will never accept oppression, as Iran's religious culture does not permit complicity with the oppressor and the arrogant.
Condemning the perpetrators of this crime, he declared that they must know that their retribution is certain.
Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani concluded by advising the country's officials to appreciate these people and to strive, through preserving unity and solidarity, to resolve the nation's problems while safeguarding and protecting the firm pillar of Wilayat-e Faqih. He stressed his firm belief that the primary and foremost objective of the enemy is to weaken this institution, warning all, particularly the elites and officials, to take this matter seriously.
