Chief Custodian announces management reshuffle at Astan Quds Razavi

Hoj. Ahmad Marvi appointed Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran as the managing director of AQR Organization in a decree that burdened him with the responsibility of preparing a roadmap for future development and transparency in service rendering to the pilgrims.

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad - Iran) - On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi has officially announced new appointments for boards of trustees of AQR, Endowment Productivity Foundation, and Karamat Razavi Foundation along with new members for Endowment Steering Council and AQR Scientific and Cultural Council.

Hoj. Ahmad Marvi appointed Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran as the managing director of AQR Organization in a decree that burdened him with the responsibility of preparing a roadmap for future development and transparency in service rendering to the pilgrims. In his decree, the chief custodian has placed special emphasis on rendering desirable services to the pilgrims and neighbors of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine through creation and implementation of the ‘charter of pilgrims’ rights’ in line with promotion and deepening of the social capital, monitoring and controlling mechanisms for realization of the chart, promoting the culture of endowment and deeply-rooted traditions at the holy shrine, protecting and promoting the status of servants and servant aids, protecting architectural treasure and unique calligraphy and ornaments on the courts and buildings, efficient management on publicity units, welfare affairs, holy places, etc.

Marvi also appointed Hassan Rangraz Jeddi as the official in charge of the Chief Custodian’s Office, Abdolhamid Talebi as the advisor and deputy head of the office, and Reza Khorakian as the advisor to the chief custodian.

Also Hoj. Mohammad Baqer Farzaneh, Hoj. Mohsen Qomi, Gholamali Haddad Adel, Mohammad Hossein Saffar Harandi, Ali Karimi Qoddusi, Reza Motallebi Kashani and Ensiyeh Khazali were appointed as the members of AQR Board of Trustees.

Upon a separate decree, Mohammad Javad Iravani, Mohammad Mokhber Dezfuli, Seyyed Morteza Bakhtiari, Seyyed Parviz Fattah, Alireza Tabesh, Mostafa Khaksar Qahrudi, Mohammad Reza Eskandari and Malek Rahmati were appointed as the new members of Endowment Steering Council’s Board of Trustees.

Other decrees appointed Mohammad Reza Mokhber Dezfuli as the advisor to the chief custodian in cultural affairs and member of AQR Scientific and Cultural Council. Alireza E’rafi, Ali Akbar Sadeqi Rashad, Hamid Parsania, Ahmad Vaezi, Mojtaba Elahi Khorasani, Mohammad Mehdi Masoudi, Vahid Jalili, Mojtaba Bazrafshan Moqadam, Mohammad Saeed Ahadian, Seyyed Ali Sarabi, Reza Dishidi and Sediqeh Khadivi received decrees as members of the Scientific and Cultural Council.

Marvi also appointed Mohammad Mokhber Dezfuli, Seyyed Masud Mir Kazemi, Seyyed Hassan Saffarian, Abbas Aliabadi, Mohammad Reza Farzin, Mohammad Kafi, Ali Otarkhani, and Abolfazl Khodemani as members of the Board of Trustees and Dr. Mohammad Mokhber as the chairman of the board.

Karamat Razavi Foundation’s new team of management consisted of Mehrdad Bazrpash as the chairman of the board and Hossein Yekta, Seyyed Solat Mortazavi, Mohsen Mansouri, Davoud Parchami, Mostafa Zamanian and Fahimeh Farahmandpour as the board members.

Astan Quds Razavi’s Chief Custodian’s Office chairs Endowment Steering Council, Scientific and Cultural Council and AQR Board of Trustees. Astan Quds Razavi is the body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
