Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Mohsen Faqihi, member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, has issued a message thanking the noble Iraqi nation for their million-strong participation in the funeral of Iran's martyred Leader, describing it as a clear message to the entire world.

Text of the Message:

"In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

God the Wise has declared: 'Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds—the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.'

To the great and noble nation of Iraq, the nation of faith, loyalty, and chivalry,
Peace and God's mercy be upon you.

God Almighty granted me the privilege of being among you at the magnificent funeral ceremony of the martyred Leader—he who was, in the conscience of the Ummah, the symbol of jihad, steadfastness, and freedom.

O beloved people of Iraq!

You have once again proven that you are people of loyalty to the people of truth. When you stand beside the oppressed, you are in fact standing beside a divine principle deeply rooted in your souls. Your glorious funeral procession for that great warrior was a vivid image of Islamic unity and a living embodiment of faith-based brotherhood—a brotherhood that gathers believers around the axis of truth and justice, transcending borders of homeland and ethnicity.

This massive, million-strong turnout—in which diverse spectrums of the Iraqi nation participated, from scholars and jurists, tribal leaders, courageous youth, to patient women—sent a clear message to the world that Iraq is the land of loyalty, and its people will never forget the one who raised the banner of dignity and freedom and stood by their side.

From the depths of my heart, I extend gratitude to the Supreme Shia Marja'iyyah in holy Najaf—the steadfast pillar of the Ummah's security and guidance—to the great Seminary of Najaf, and to all political and national currents that played a role in this historic funeral. May God grant them the best of rewards for this noble stance.

This grand funeral also demonstrated that had conditions been favorable in other Islamic countries—such as India, Pakistan, and elsewhere—millions would have likewise gathered to bid farewell to this great martyr. For the spirit of freedom-seeking and independence that the martyred Leader represented is a spirit that transcends borders, speaking to the heart of every free human being across the globe.

I beseech God Almighty to make this momentous event the beginning of goodness, unity, and dignity for the Islamic Ummah; to increase the elevation, strength, and stability of Iraq and Iran day by day; to protect the nations of both countries from all harm; and to ordain for all Muslims a future worthy of their sacrifices, patience, and steadfastness."
