The holy cities of Najaf and Karbala witnessed one of the largest funeral processions in recent years, as millions of Iraqis, senior religious scholars, pilgrims, and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) gathered to accompany the coffin of the martyred leader of the Ummah to the sacred shrines.
