Friday Prayer Imam of Najaf Ashraf Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sadr al-Din Qabanchi said,” Iran will remain the axis of the global movement towards the victory of religion, and we will stand by its side in all circumstances.”

Hawzah News Agency- Friday Prayer Imam of Najaf Ashraf Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sadr al-Din Qabanchi, said in his Friday prayer sermons delivered at the Grand Hussainiya in Najaf Ashraf, that the government of Iraq after the majority of parliament members voted to designate Eid al-Ghadir Day as a national official holiday, announced it as an official public holiday, but unfortunately the Kurdistan government did not approve it.”

He added,” We ask the Kurdistan Regional Government to officially apologize to the people and the government of Iraq, considering that the Kurdistan Regional Government is subordinate to the central government and their position is illegal.”

Friday Imam of Najaf Ashraf also noted that it is also not a sign of loyalty to the Shiites of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) that the Kurdistan regional government takes this decision, because the Shiites stand by them in all crises.

Regarding Iran's presidential election, Hujjat al-Islam Qabanchi said that Iran's presidential election took place on Friday, and our reading of the conditions is the strength of Iran's position, the determination and awareness of the Iranian nation, and the defeat of all conspiracies against Iran.

In this regard, he added,” Iran will remain the axis of the global movement towards the victory of religion, and, we will stand by its side in all circumstances.”

Addressing US President Biden, he said,” Hamas is the embodiment of the Islamic situation in the world and an Islamic project, and all indicators point to the destruction of Israel in this battle.”

After appreciating the processions of Husseini, Alavi holy shrine, security forces and the people of Iraq for the success of holding a million pilgrimage on Ghadir Day, he said,” Eid al-Ghadir is the day of renewing allegiance to the Amir al-Momenin (PBUH), but what is more than that we are expected to follow the morals of Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) and his asceticism, sacrifice, courage and positions.”
