Communications and Media Center of Astan Quds Razavi has published a comprehensive geographical guide titled ‘Atlas-e-Astan’.

Hawzah News Agency –In a ceremony, which hosted a group of media managers and activists, the Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of Imam Reza holy shrine, unveiled eight multimedia products, including a comprehensive geographic Atlas, which would provide pilgrims, experts, and activists with thorough and comprehensive information about Astan Quds Razavi.
A section of the 154-page Atlas is allocated to numerous AQR’s centers, foundations, cultural, social, and economic sectors located in the holy shrine, in the northeastern city of Mashhad, across Khorasan Razavi Province, and throughout the country. This section appears in four chapters based on different regions.
Another section of the book is designated to the thorough introduction of the holy shrine. This part contains information about all porticos, courtyards, entrances, museums, institutions, etc.
The section on the city of Mashhad provides a clear picture of the central organization, AQR-affiliated institutions in the city and suburbs, guesthouses, hospitals, medical centers, libraries, and security stations among others.
There is also a Khorasan Razavi section, which delineates the scope of AQR’s activities across the province. These include investment projects, roadside complexes in deprived areas to accommodate pilgrims, and educational centers, to name but a few.
The Iran section of the book is concerned with AQR’s attempts to reach out countrywide. It has information about secretariats of Razavi Center for Voluntary Services, hospitals and medical centers, cultural centers, economic institutions, and huge construction projects such as dams, highways and railroads, which have been either implemented by AQR or are in progress.
