Hawzah News Agency- In a grand ceremony which was held at the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi, Hujjat al-Islam Mehdi Mahdavipour, the former representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in India was honored for his fifteen years of sincere and brilliant services, and at the same time, he warmly welcomed the new representative, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Abdul Majid Hakimollahi.
The distinguished guest of the ceremony, Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, Deputy for International Affairs of the Supreme Leader's Office, in his speech, while pointing out the importance of religious education and the necessity of aligning it with contemporary needs, appreciated Mahdavipour's scientific, cultural and social services and considered it a precious asset for the Islamic society.
The ceremony was attended by prominent scientific, cultural, religious, and social figures from across India, including Iraj Elahi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to New Delhi.
