Hawzah News Agency - According to Pars Today, the Zionist regime has intensified its brutality against Palestinians in Gaza in recent weeks, an issue that has now raised concerns among international bodies. UNRWA, in its latest weekly report on the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, reported the forced displacement of more than 142,000 people between March 18 and March 23 alone.
The report also highlighted that more than 180 children were martyred in Gaza on March 18 alone, making it one of the deadliest days for Palestinian children in the past year.
According to the report, since March 2, when Zionist forces imposed a complete siege on Gaza, no humanitarian aid or equipment has entered the region. This siege, which has now lasted more than three weeks, has surpassed even the initial blockade of October 2023 at the start of the war in duration, creating an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
The report further stated: The Zionist regime's military operations in Palestinian cities and towns in the northern occupied West Bank, including Jenin, have marked the longest military operation in the area since the Second Intifada. These incursions have led to the largest wave of Palestinian displacement since 1967.
UNRWA once again called for an end to the Gaza siege, the widespread entry of humanitarian aid into the strip, and the establishment of a ceasefire to protect civilian lives.
