Hawzah News Agency- Head of the Islamic Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi has expressed condolences to the Director of the Islamic Center of South Africa Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdullah Hosseini on the passing away of his father Ayatollah Haj Seyyed Akbar Hosseini Najafi.

Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdullah Hosseini

While extending my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your respected father, the selfless spiritual leader and great scholar, His Eminence Ayatollah Haj Seyyed Akbar Hosseini, who spent his lifetime serving the holy Islamic system and the seminaries, I extend my condolences and ask God Almighty to grant his soul divine felicity and to reunite him with God’s best servants, and for the survivors, I pray for health and patience.

It is worth mentioning that the Late Ayatollah Seyyed Akbar Hosseini Najafi (the head of the Hosseini family and the honorable father of Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdullah Hosseini, the head of the Islamic Center of South Africa), who had spent 4 years of his valuable life on the front lines of Iran-Iraq war and was a veteran, passed away on January 1, 2025, at Imam Reza Holy Shrine (PBUH) at the age of 98 and joined his pure ancestors.
