Hawzah News Agency - a memorial ceremony to honor Late Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi (RA) was held at the Dar al-Shifa Seminary School in Qom on Wednesday, December 25 attended by scholars, and students.

Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi, Head of the Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute in Qom, referred to the Supreme Leader's statements describing Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, saying that "honoring Ayatollah Mesbah is one of the obligations of the seminary and the clergy, and honoring him means keeping his orientation and path alive," saying,” The seminaries and the clergy must strive to recognize Ayatollah Mesbah and his thoughts.”

Referring to the naming of the day of the passing of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi (RA) as the National Day of Islamic Sciences Production, Ayatollah Rajabi noted that Islamic seminary and the clergy must be pioneers in the production of Islamic sciences.

The head of the Imam Khomeini Institute (RA) added,” Allama Mesbah was well-aware of the significance of producing Islamic sciences even before the revolution, so the seminary should have the ability to respond to the doubts and issues of the day.”

A member of the Supreme Council of Seminaries concluded by saying,” One of Allama Mesbah's goals was to produce Islamic sciences in accordance with the needs of society and to train professors and students to take charge of society's affairs.”
