A Lebanese political analyst described Yahya Sinwar as an exemplary resistance commander who made tireless efforts on the path of Jihadi Islamic unity.

Hawzah News Agency- Sinwar, leader of the Gaza-based Hamas resistance movement, was martyred in an attack by Israeli regime forces in the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

In an article, Lebanese analyst Ahmed Farhat wrote that Sinwar was a man of Jihad who spent most of his time at the frontline and despite what the enemy said, did not hide in tunnels. Following are excerpts from the article:

At the military level, Sinwar fought on the path of resistance and sought to serve Islamic sanctities. He considered this struggle to be Jihad for liberation of Palestine and fighting on the path of the truth.

He strived a lot for cooperation and Jihadi unity in the Muslim Ummah. That is why his relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah and other groups of the resistance movement were based on his belief and on Islam’s monotheistic approach.

He wrote in a letter to the secretary general of Hezbollah Sayed Hassan Nasrallah that one of the principles of Hamas is Jihad and resistance and unity of the Muslim Ummah to confront the Zionist project and defend the Islamic sanctities.

Sinwar, along with Ismail Haniyeh, also pave the way for cooperation with the Islamic resistance in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

The two martyrs believed in the need for Muslim countries to get closer together and made efforts for proximity of Islamic resistance movements in the region.

In a letter to Abdul Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement a few months ago, Sinwar wrote that the efforts made by the resistance forces in Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq have doubled to inflict defeat on the enemy.

He pointed out in his letter that the resistance is preparing for a war of attrition against the enemy so as to defeat it politically just as it broke the military will of the enemy.

Yahya Sinwar An Exemplary Commander Who Strived for Muslim Unity: Lebanese Analyst

This is an emphasis on the fact that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation continues on the basis of a clear political and military outlook.

The first achievement of the operation, carried out on October 7 last year, was shattering the Zionist regime’s national security strategy and the second was the political isolation of the regime.

The Islamic resistance moves forward on the path of Jihad and victory by offering martyrs and paves the way for future generations of resistance in Palestine and the region.

The victory that God has promised will be achieved in three stages of patience, steadfastness and triumph. “Advancing towards Goliath and his army, they prayed to God for patience, steadfastness in battle, and for victory over the unbelievers.” (Verse 250 of Surah Al-Baqarah)
