Arbaeen Link Between Humanity and Imamate

The head of the Jurisprudential Center of Infallible Imams (PBUT) said,” In recent decades, many adversaries tried to create differences between the people of Iran and Iraq, between the seminaries of Iran and Iraq, between the Shia scholars of Iran and Iraq; But Arbaeen not only neutralized all these conspiracies, but also established a strong brotherhood between the people of Iran and Iraq, as well as between the religious authorities and seminaries and the two countries of Iran and Iraq; this is a very important issue that, God willing, should spread among other neighboring countries.”

Hawzah News Agency- Shia cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Javad Fazel Lankarani discussed the huge and global Arbaeen walk in a meeting with the members of the Cultural Committee of the Central Headquarters of Arbaeen on Sunday, August 27 and said,” As you have noticed in the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Arbaeen ceremony is a very huge event that not only Shiites and Muslims Rather, all humanity should be connected with it. That is, the primary goal of Arbaeen is to connect humanity together around the axis of Imamate; Although Imamate is something that Shiites believe in, but this is the ultimate purpose of Arbaeen Walk.”

Arbaeen Walk Is One of The Important Social Traditions of Religion

The professor of Qom seminary further noted, “I think that just as there is a division in jurisprudence as individual jurisprudence and social jurisprudence, we also have social etiquettes regarding pilgrimages and recommended customs and Arbaeen is one of these social customs.”

He added, “It is true that according to the narration of Imam Hassan Al-Askari (PBUH) ‘one of the signs of a believer is the Arbaeen pilgrimage’; and its initial appearance is that this is an individual act and its purpose is to benefit the pilgrim from the reward of the pilgrimage, but this is not the truth of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, we have documented Arbaeen not only in this narration; Rather, we should place the day of Arbaeen in Karbala in the presence of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT). The Arbaeen document is that the first wish of Imam Sajjad and Lady Zainab (PBUT) after enduring all those sufferings, all those oppressions, all those captivities, humiliating, stoning, introducing them as foreigners was that he returned to Madinah through Karbala, and according to the research done by the scholars, this happened in the Arbaeen of the same year, not the year after.”

Shia scholar Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani stated that the proof of Arbaeen is the presence of the Ahl al-Bayt and the presence of Imam's (PBUT) companions in Karbala on the day of Arbaeen, and this has a great message for humanity; He went on,” This proof of Arbaeen is presented as a social movement or, in a more precise term, the supreme leader of the revolution referred to it as a civilizational movement which must be promoted.”
