Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the head of Iran’s Seminary, met with the gathering of Iraqi religious scholars to discuss ongoing developments in the Islamic world.

Ayatollah Arafi emphasized the necessity of a program-oriented approach, strategic planning, comprehensive plans, and a futuristic approach, and further, a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution and pure Islam, which has changed the intellectual, cultural and religious relations of the world, is one of the needs of seminaries today.

He said,” Today, everywhere in the world, there is a readiness to listen to pure Islamic teachings and the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them.”

He described the interaction of the Islamic Seminary with the university as essential and considered intellectual and epistemological infrastructures and Islamization of sciences necessary for the future of the Islamic world.

Ayatollah Arafi also stated that paying attention to youths, high schools and education are among the priorities of seminaries.

The director of Iranian seminaries further emphasized that the scholars following the Wilayat should pay attention to the interaction of Shia with the Sunnis in order to create a discourse of proximity and the unified discourse of the Islamic Ummah.
