Sheikh Hussein al-Ma’tuq, a Kuwaiti member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met with Ayatollah Ramazani.

Hawzah News Agency –Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Hussein al-Ma’tuq, a Kuwaiti member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom on Thursday morning, January 20, 2022.

In this meeting, while explaining some of the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The concerns of the Islamic world will be on the agenda of the next meeting of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the details are not on the agenda.”

“The Assembly should become the scientific and spiritual authority of the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in the world. In such a way that all the elites and elders of the Islamic world are related to the Assembly,” he added.

“The policies of Thaqalayn satellite TV have changed and we have revised the programs of this TV. We also have new programs in explaining the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and presenting topics on family, youth, adolescents, and women,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, on the activity of Thaqalayn satellite TV.

At the beginning of the meeting, while presenting a brief report on the situation in the Islamic world and the region to the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Sheikh Hussein Ma’tuq, mentioned the following issues:

The need for extensive activity of the Assembly in other countries and operational presence in the field, the need for a long-term plan, coordination and synergy of international institutions, the usefulness and effectiveness of the activities of the Thaqalayn satellite TV among the audiences of different countries, and the appropriateness of its programs with the goals of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, presence of the Assembly in the international arena, and the need for more communication with Shiite scholars and elders in different countries.
