Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al‑Mutawakkil narrated that Abdullah ibn Ja’far al‑Himyari narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from al‑Hasan ibn Mahbub, from Sayf ibn Amirah, from Imam Sadiq (pbuh), who said:
لَا تَصْلُحُ الصَّنِیعَهُ إِلَّا عِنْدَ ذِی حَسَبٍ أَوْ دِینٍ.
A favor (kindness) is not befitting except when done to a person of noble lineage or of religious person.
