Ayatollah Javadi Amoli Urges Strategic Awareness of Enemies, Commends Police Forces

QOM, Iran — Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli has emphasized the importance of looking beyond the battlefield to understand the main strategic centers of adversaries, highlighting that vigilance, insight, and awareness of enemy planning are critical for Iran's national security.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking during a meeting with Major General Ahmad Reza Radan, Commander of Iran’s Police Force, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli underscored the need for proactive, strategic action, warning that focusing solely on immediate threats is insufficient. “Do not limit your vision to the enemy standing before you,” he stated, referencing Imam Ali’s guidance, “but look to the enemy’s war room from afar. Understand where and how their plans are formulated. We must act beyond the frontlines and anticipate the true strategic hubs of adversaries.”

The meeting, held at the scholar’s residence in Qom, also featured expressions of respect and appreciation for the sacrifices of Iran’s martyrs and the ongoing efforts of the country’s law enforcement in maintaining public security. “The Iranian people are a great nation,” Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said, “a country rooted in history, culture, science, and art—unlike powers such as the United States, Iran’s civilization has flourished for millennia.”

Addressing the persistent threat of Zionism, he stated, “Israel is a direct adversary of Islam, and the Qur’an explicitly condemns treachery in this context. While other enemies exist, Zionism remains at the forefront of hostility toward the Islamic world. Continuous enemy analysis is therefore essential.”

The Grand Ayatollah also highlighted the necessity of constant vigilance and reliance on divine guidance, reminding that no oppression can endure within the cosmic order. “The system of existence ensures that injustice does not prevail indefinitely,” he said, “but this divine promise does not absolve us of responsibility; we must always remain aware and strategically alert.”

Warning against complacency, especially in social and political spheres, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli cited Imam Ali (peace be upon him) once again: “Sleep should be experienced only in the smallest measure, like a sip or a taste, for your enemy is awake. Any lapse in alertness can bring severe consequences for all.”

The scholar concluded his remarks with prayers for the success and protection of the Iranian nation, its officials, and the Islamic system under the guidance of the Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt, emphasizing the role of faith, knowledge, and wisdom in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.
