Hawzah News Agency – In a statement released by The Society of Seminary Teachers in Qom in support of Shaykh Isa Qasim, the religious leader of Bahrain, the following was mentioned: ‘News about the changing circumstances in Bahrain indicate that the despotic and tyrannical regime in Bahrain have continued with their unwise, irreligious and uncivil politics. Attacks against the defenseless and oppressed people of the country, the closing of masjids, banning the holding of Friday Prayers, arresting scholars and activists, suspending religious institutes and centers, intending to arrest the leader of the Shias in Bahrain, Shaykh Isa Qasim, are just some of the dreadful crimes that regime has performed in trying to destabilize the security of the country.’
‘Jamiah Mudarriseen of the Qum Islamic Seminary unequivocally condemns this disgusting act and proclaim our extreme regret about these irreligious and unworthy politics of the Ale Khalifah regime in trying to destroy the identity and beliefs of the Shias in Bahrain. We call on all Islamic scholars, seminary and non-seminary centers and institutes to answer the cry of “Is there any helper..” from the scholars of this nation and not to allow this oppressive regime to continue on this political course.’
The statement ended by saying, ‘In the end, we emphasize that the Ale Khalifah regime should take lessons from the past, as trampling on the legitimate rights of the people and the religious scholars will leave a damaging effect on them and by these daily actions, they are bringing their eventual demise and fall closer.’
End.
