Celebrating the spiritual and moral legacy of Hazrat Fatima Zahra
In his keynote speech, Hojatoleslam Iqbal Beheshti, Vice President of the Ahlul Bayt School of Pakistan’s Ulema Council, outlined the elevated spiritual status of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) and her exemplary moral qualities. He described her as the “standard of honesty, the axis of pride, the immaculate, the Mother of Imams, and the source of peace in the heart of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).”
Beheshti emphasized that the life of Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) serves as a model for patience, sacrifice, pursuit of justice, and the defense of the Islamic community, underscoring her role as an enduring source of inspiration for believers worldwide.
Defender of Wilayat and symbol of resistance
Hojatoleslam Sheikh Ahmad Ali Noori, a prominent Pakistani cleric and former member of the Gilgit-Baltistan Majlis, highlighted Hazrat Fatima Zahra’s (peace be upon her) pivotal role in safeguarding the Wilayat of Amir al-Mu’minin Imam Ali (peace be upon him) after the passing of the Prophet.
“Through her courage, insight, and perseverance, she defended the rights of the Imamate, sending a clear message that protecting Wilayat is essential to the continuity of the Prophet’s mission and the survival of Islamic values,” Noori said. He described her stance as a shining example of resistance in the path of truth, a legacy that continues to inspire the oppressed and those seeking justice around the world today.
Preserving the Fatimid Seerah for future generations
Hojatoleslam Asghar Askari, Secretary General of the Ahlul Bayt School of Pakistan, emphasized the importance of transmitting the life and teachings of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) to younger generations. He noted that understanding her Seerah is crucial for strengthening moral values, promoting religious awareness, and fostering social unity in society.
Commitment to continued educational and cultural programs
The conference concluded with a call for ongoing intellectual and cultural initiatives. Participants affirmed that the Ahlul Bayt School of Pakistan will continue its efforts to promote the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) and to illuminate the Seerah of Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) through future scientific conferences, seminars, and educational programs.
