Hundreds Gather in Stockholm to Protest Israel’s Ongoing Airstrikes on Gaza

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at Odenplan Square in Stockholm on Saturday, December 6, to protest Israel’s ongoing airstrikes in Gaza. The protest, organized by several civil society groups, called attention to renewed violations of the ceasefire agreement signed on October 10.

Hawzah News Agency- Protesters accused Israel of violating the truce and restricting humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave. Many held signs with messages including “Bombing civilians is not self-defence'', “Say no to genocide,” “Stand up for Palestine'', “End food restrictions'', and “Israel must respect the peace agreement''. Following the demonstration at Odenplan Square, the crowd marched toward the Swedish Parliament.

Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli military carried out heavy airstrikes and demolitions across several areas under its control in Gaza, marking further breaches of the ceasefire’s first phase.

Official Gaza sources reported that Israel has already killed 366 Palestinians since the ceasefire took effect and continues to violate the agreement.
