Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the annual “Unity of the Nation” conference in Lahore, titled “The Test of the Nation in the Gaza Field,” Hojatoleslam Naqvi and other prominent Islamic scholars from various schools of thought underscored the need for solidarity in confronting the oppression faced by Muslims, particularly the people of Gaza.
Naqvi condemned the silence and complicity of certain Muslim rulers in the face of Israel’s crimes, saying they have “failed the great test of the Ummah” by aligning with arrogant powers and ignoring the suffering of Palestinians. He stressed that Gaza is not a regional issue but a moral and spiritual test for the entire Muslim world.
Blaming the decline of the Ummah on its detachment from the Quran, Naqvi said: “If Muslims accepted the Holy Quran as the foundation for personal, social, and political life, they would not face today’s division.”
He praised the resistance movements of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Yemeni fighters, and the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran as examples of steadfastness and true Islamic resistance that have preserved the dignity of the Ummah.
Calling for a return to Quranic principles and intellectual awakening, Hojatoleslam Naqvi said the revival of the Muslim world requires courageous and faith-based leadership. “Honor and victory,” he concluded, “will never come through reliance on world powers, but through unity, resistance, and the teachings of the Holy Quran.”
