Women Seminaries Call on Global Institutions to End Gaza Siege, Condemn Silence of International Community

The Women Seminaries in Iran have issued a strong statement condemning the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip, calling on international organizations and the global conscience to take immediate action.

Hawzah News Agency- The statement, issued on behalf of the students, professors, and staff of the seminaries, denounces the systematic starvation, killing of civilians, and destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure, describing it as an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.

“In the face of genocide, famine, and the mass killing of women and children, international institutions—established to defend human rights and ensure global peace—have turned into silent or complicit observers,” the statement said.

It further criticized the passivity and inaction of Arab and Islamic governments, some of which, it stated, have gone as far as aligning with the oppressors.

While condemning what it called the “shameful silence” of world powers and rights organizations, the statement urged them to immediately facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave and remove barriers to grassroots and voluntary assistance.

The statement also called on the diplomatic corps of the Islamic Republic of Iran to amplify the Iranian nation’s demand for breaking the siege and to exert pressure on international bodies to act.

“The Women Seminaries, along with the kind-hearted people of Iran and freedom-seeking nations, stand ready to collect and deliver public aid to the resilient people of Gaza, using all available social and faith-based capacities to support the oppressed,” it read.

Concluding the statement, the seminaries emphasized that history will judge today’s response to the ongoing atrocities. “This is a test of human conscience. Tomorrow, the world will remember who stood with the oppressed—and who stood with the oppressor.”
