A key feature of the awaited government of Imam Mahdi (AS), according to Islamic tradition, is its widespread acceptance among all human communities and divine creations. Unlike previous governments, which often struggled to achieve lasting popular satisfaction due to systemic shortcomings and administrative flaws, the divine rule of Imam Mahdi (AS) will inspire complete contentment and harmony.
Citing the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), the text states:
“I give you good news of the Mahdi, who will be raised among my nation during a time of great division and upheaval. He will fill the earth with justice and equity just as it had been filled with oppression and injustice. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth will be pleased with him.”
(Al-Ghaybah, Sheikh Tusi, Vol. 1, p. 178)
This prophetic narration underscores the comprehensive transformation that will take place under Imam Mahdi’s leadership—eradicating global injustice and restoring moral and social balance.
In another narration, the Prophet compares the followers of Imam Mahdi (AS) to bees seeking shelter in their hive:
«تَأْوِی إِلَیْهِ أُمَّتُهُ کَمَا تَأْوِی اَلنَّحْلُ إِلَی یَعْسُوبِهَا.»
“His nation will seek refuge in him just as the bee seeks refuge in its hive.”
(Al-Tashreef Bal-Mann Fi Ta’rif Bal-Fitn ,Vol. 1, p. 147)
The analogy highlights the deep spiritual and emotional reliance that the Muslim community will place in their divinely guided leader—a figure of refuge, wisdom, and unifying strength in turbulent times.
As discussed in “The Jewel of Creation”, this general acceptability and cosmic approval are not only signs of Imam Mahdi’s divine mission but also reflect the ultimate aspiration of all just governance: to establish a society founded on truth, compassion, and unwavering justice.
The book suggests that such a government—free of human ego and corruption—will serve as a long-awaited ideal for humanity, transcending sectarian, national, and worldly limitations.
