Astan Quds Razavi Chief: Islamic Unity Will Thwart Enemy Conspiracies

Mashhad, Iran– In a ceremony commemorating the martyrs of the Zionist regime’s recent terrorist attack and marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sajjad (AS), the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Hojjat al-Islam Ahmad Marvi, emphasized the power of unity and awareness within the Islamic Ummah to overcome the plots of its enemies.

Hawzah News Agency- Addressing a gathering of Afghan mourners on Sunday evening, Hojjat al-Islam Marvi stated that the enemies of Islam have consistently sought to create discord and division among Muslims. However, he stressed that such conspiracies have repeatedly failed due to the insight, intelligence, and solidarity of Muslim nations.

“The enemies of Islam have always tried to harm the Islamic Ummah, but their seditions have been foiled one after another by the vigilance and unity of believers,” he said.

Human Dignity in Law Enforcement

During his speech, Marvi also highlighted the importance of upholding human dignity and Islamic ethics in the implementation of laws, especially in interactions with refugees and vulnerable communities.

“The enforcement of law should never come at the cost of human dignity,” he said. “Even a few instances of disrespect are unacceptable and must be condemned. Islamic values demand that we preserve the dignity of every individual, including our Afghan brothers and sisters.”

Support for the Afghan People

Reflecting on the broader regional situation, the Astan Quds Razavi chief prayed for peace, dignity, and liberation for all oppressed Muslim nations, particularly Afghanistan.

“We ask Allah to grant honor and freedom to the Muslim nations, especially the noble people of Afghanistan, who have endured much suffering with patience and resilience,” he added.

Imam Sajjad (AS): A Model for Humanity

Paying tribute to Imam Sajjad (AS), Hojjat al-Islam Marvi quoted a hadith from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who said: “On the Day of Judgment, a voice will call out, ‘Where is Zainul-Abidin?’ and I see my son, Ali ibn al-Husayn, entering Paradise.” He noted that such narrations reflect the immense spiritual status of the fourth Shia Imam.

Marvi called on the faithful to take the lifestyle of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) as a guide for daily life.

“The Ahl al-Bayt came to educate humanity and establish a divine way of life. If we cannot be exactly like them, we must strive to live like them—to follow their example in our words, deeds, and values.”

The gathering was attended by a large number of Afghan mourners and religious scholars and served as a reminder of shared grief and common ideals across the Muslim world in the face of oppression.
