Hawzah News Agency- This is part of the programme’s efforts to utilise the summer vacation to develop educational and religious aspects among young people.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Endowments said that the programme targets boys aged five years and above and includes teaching basic spelling lessons and reviewing the Holy Quran, along with accompanying educational programmes to reinforce Islamic values and positive behaviour among participants.
The sessions are scheduled to begin next Sunday morning and continue until the end of the month in 14 Quranic centres distributed across various regions, ensuring easy access and benefit for the largest possible number of students.
The sessions will be held four days a week, from Sunday to Wednesday, from 9am to 11am, under the supervision of a select group of teachers specialising in teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences.
The Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance emphasised the importance of these programmes in instilling a love of the Holy Quran and promoting Islamic values in children in a safe and stimulating educational environment. This initiative is part of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs’ plan to disseminate Islamic knowledge and raise religious awareness in society, particularly among young people. This will contribute to raising a conscious generation that adheres to its Islamic identity.
