Hawzah News Agency- The Bangladesh Islamic Foundation has initiated this program with a multi-faceted goal: to spread Islamic education, culture, and values, to awaken the morality of the younger generation, and to foster excellence in religious leadership across the country.
A key highlight of the conference will be the recognition and awarding of ''nine winners'' from each of the three groups participating in the national-level Hifzul Quran (Quran memorization) and Seerat (biography of Prophet Muhammad PBUH) competitions.
The prize money for the Hifzul Quran competition is substantial, with the first prize set at Taka 2 lakh, the second prize at Taka 1.5 lakh, and the third prize at Taka 1 lakh. For the Seerat competition, the first prize is Taka 50 thousand, the second prize is Taka 45 thousand, and the third prize is Taka 40 thousand. All awarded imams and farm imams will also receive cash prizes, crests, and certificates.
Through this comprehensive event, the Islamic Foundation aims to play a leading role in promoting Islamic education, encouraging Quran Hifz and Seerat practice, developing religious leadership, and instilling positive values within the Bangladeshi society.
The Islamic Foundation, Bangladesh, is an autonomous government organization under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Established in 1975, its mandate is to disseminate Islamic values and ideals and to carry out activities related to these principles.
The Foundation operates through a network of divisional and district offices, Imam Training Academy Centers, and Islamic Mission Centers, demonstrating its widespread reach in promoting religious education and community development in Bangladesh.
