Hawzah News Agency- Chairman of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council Hujjat al-Islam Raja Nasser Abbas Jafari has congratulated all Muslims on this auspicious day and emphasized the importance of empathy with the oppressed people of Palestine. Referring to the joys of Eid, he noted that along with the celebrations, we must not forget the suffering Muslims of Palestine.

Referring to the circumstances of the Palestinian people, he said,” Celebrating Eid is the tradition of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), but when we look at the injustice being committed against the oppressed Palestinians, our hearts ache. We should not remain silent in the face of these injustice, rather we must pray for the liberation of these innocent people in Eid gatherings.”

The cleric called on the Pakistani nation to celebrate this blessed day, show their spiritual and practical support for the Palestinian people and pray for their liberation from oppression. He also called on the rulers of Islamic countries not to just watch the situation in silence, but to take effective steps to end this humanitarian disaster.

“Eid al-Fitr is a day of unity and empathy; let us, along with our joy, soothe the hearts of the oppressed and pray for a world full of peace and justice.” He concluded.
