Hawzah News Agency - According to Pars Today, the Zionist newspaper Maariv reported on Thursday that following the announcement of research results concerning the defeat of the Zionist regime on October 7, 2023, trust in the Israeli army among 47% of the population of the Zionist regime has declined.
The failure to predict the attack, prepare for it, and respond effectively before its occurrence were the main focuses of the occupying army’s investigation into the October 7 operation. This operation, carried out by the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), led to the fall of areas adjacent to Gaza within a few hours. These investigations revealed an admission of a major military failure at all security, military, and intelligence levels.
Al-Qassam: Israel’s war threats stem from weakness
Meanwhile, Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated on Thursday night that the Palestinian resistance possesses capabilities that can strike the enemy in any future war. He emphasized: The enemy’s threats are a sign of weakness and failure, and this regime’s threat to restart the war will only lead to another defeat for Israel. Abu Ubaida stressed that the al-Qassam Brigades are prepared for all scenarios and remain on high alert, asserting that the land of Palestine must be cleansed of the presence of Zionist occupiers.
Increase in arrests of extremist Zionists opposing military service
The Zionist newspaper Maariv reported that, under orders from the legal advisor to the cabinet of the Zionist regime, the regime’s army is preparing to increase arrests among extremist Haredi Zionists who refuse to serve in the military.
This decision may create severe political tensions within the Zionist regime’s cabinet and could even lead to its collapse, as religious parties that are part of the ruling coalition oppose any form of mandatory military service. On Wednesday, clashes between Zionist security forces and hundreds of extremist Haredi Zionists in occupied al-Quds resulted in three Israeli security personnel being injured. These tensions arose after large numbers of Haredi Zionists protested against a new military service law that cancels their draft exemptions.
Rising number of martyrs in Gaza
In the meantime, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Wednesday that the number of martyrs in the Gaza war since October 7, 2023, has risen to 48,446, with the number of injured reaching 111,852.
Deployment of 3,000 Israeli troops in Occupied al-Quds
Coinciding with the arrival of the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, the occupying regime’s army deployed 3,000 troops across various parts of al-Quds today, particularly around Al-Aqsa Mosque.
