Hawzah News Agency - According to the Palestinian Information Center, thousands of worshipers performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers at the Aqsa Mosque on the second night of the holy month of Ramadan.

Earlier, the Israeli police prevented the Palestinians living in Silwan district from reaching the Aqsa Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate road and tightened their restrictions at the Mosque’s gates.

The police also closed the Jaba checkpoint in the north of Jerusalem to prevent Palestinian citizens from reaching the Aqsa Mosque to perform the Tarawih prayers.
