Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Naqi Mehdi Zaidi, referring to the importance of the holy month of Ramadan, said in his Friday prayer sermons in Taragra, India,” This month is a manifestation of divine mercy and forgiveness and an opportunity to draw closer to God. The holy month of Ramadan is a vast journey of divine graces in which every moment is an opportunity to worship and draw closer to God.”

He further noted,” The holy month of Ramadan is a month that God has chosen for the spiritual growth of human beings. In this month, divine mercy encompasses all creatures, and those who fast will especially enjoy the blessings of God’s mercy.”

Friday Imam of Taragra quoted a narration from Imam Reza (PBUH),” Abasalt Heravi says that on the last Friday of Shaban Month, I came to Imam Reza and he said: O Abasalt! The month of Shaban is coming to an end. In these remaining days, make up for your past, increase your prayers and seek forgiveness, recite the Holy Quran, and repent from your sins until the month of Ramadan approaches you while your heart is cleansed of all grudges and sins.”
